In recent years, efforts have been made to restore the cells (laura).<\/p>\n

The beginning has been made, and the south wing of the monastery is already well advanced, although no official body has been willing to help in this project. The whole effort is progressing only with the assistance of the devout pilgrims of the monastery, who are turning to the grace of the Virgin Mary that is alive in this place, in the presence of the holy icon and her Graceful Cincture.<\/p>\n

At this point we humbly ask for the assistance of all of you, so that this work of restoration of the old monastery may proceed and be completed. We firmly believe that the Most Holy Theotokos will enlighten pious souls to assist in this work, which has as its sole purpose the better service of the pilgrims and the uninterrupted continuation of the work performed here, which is none other than the salvation of souls.<\/p>\n

We would also like to inform the pious donors that they can send us names for commemoration, for the health and for the repose of the souls of their loved ones, which will be remembered daily during the Divine Liturgies and the sacred Supplications that are celebrated before the miraculous icon of Panagia Xenia and the Holy Cincture of Theotokos.<\/p>\n
